We start with award-winning Chocome dark chocolate made with freeze-dried fruit, specially crafted to complement red wine. Then we add a fine Rioja Reserva and blend it with the incredible fruitiness of our early-harvest extra virgin olive oil. Is that all? Not quite! The pack also includes Moscovitas by Rialto, exquisite pastries with marcona almonds and dark chocolate. And there’s more—because no wine & chocolate pairing would be complete without the extraordinary cherry-flavoured popcorn from Pop It. We guarantee you’ve never tried popcorn like this before. This wine and chocolate pairing kit includes:

1º) Bottle of Marqués de Riscal Rioja Reserva red wine (benjamín / 375 ml). Characteristics: Colour; Deep cherry red with great intensity and barely any signs of ageing. | Nose; Highly expressive, with notes of liquorice, cinnamon and black pepper. The long ageing in oak is barely noticeable, thanks to its complexity and ripe fruit concentration. | Palate; Fresh, with very smooth, polished tannins. Good structure but easy to drink. 2º) Special bar of 70% dark chocolate with nutmeg, dried cranberries and freeze-dried strawberries, perfect for pairing with Pinot Noir (inspired by École Valrhona) (110 g).

Wine meets chocolate

We’re not the first to pair wine with chocolate, but adding a splash of olive oil to the mix brings a surprisingly fruity twist. And don’t get us started on the cherry popcorn! To get the most out of this pack, we recommend opening the bottle and letting the wine breathe for a while. Ideally, all items should be at similar temperature. And of course, if you prefer to enjoy the elements separately, you’ll still have three top-quality products perfect for any occasion.
